Event

Heartfelt gratitude to Himmotthan Society and CEDAR for making us participate in the Partners’ Meet on Himalayan Spring Systems and Mountain Aquifers: Building a Research Consortium for Water Security, recently held at Dehradun. The insightful discussions, exchange of ideas across technical sessions, panels, and reflections highlighted the importance of collaborative action for sustaining Himalayan springs and aquifers — our “hidden water towers.”

🕯️ Candlelight March in Tribute to Victims of the Pahalgam Terror Attack 🕊️

Candlelight March in Tribute to Victims of the Pahalgam Terror Attack

In a heartfelt display of solidarity and sorrow, our organization Janki Devi Educational Welfare Society organized a candlelight march on 28th April 2025 to honor the memory of the innocent tourists who tragically lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.

With candles in our hands and prayers in our hearts, we gathered to stand united against the forces of violence and hatred that continue to threaten peace and harmony in our society. The march was not only a tribute to the departed souls but also a powerful statement — that we will not be silenced by fear, and we will not let terror define our future.

Participants from all walks of life — youth, elders, community leaders, and volunteers — came together in this peaceful demonstration. The atmosphere was filled with grief, yet it resonated with a collective determination to uphold the values of peace, love, and unity.

We extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims. Your loss is our loss. We stand with you in this hour of pain and pray for strength and healing.

It’s high time we think about avoiding Plastic, Leather and Rexine products and go for Eco-Friendly alternatives to make our lives healthier and also the environment cleaner and more sustainable. While doing so we support the poor and underprivileged. Let’s all unite and fight together to Save Environment 🏝 🐏 JDEWS has the solution:-
