On 6th August 2026, the CEO – CII Mrs. Shivani Kumar along with Mr. Gaurav Lamba Director – CII Dehradun Co- visited JDEWS to explore opportunities for collaboration between the organization and industries with the objective of creating sustainable employment and livelihood opportunities for women. During the visit, the delegation interacted with the women artisans associated with JDEWS and observed their skills, craftsmanship, and the production processes involved in making a wide range of handmade products. They visited the production unit to understand the organization’s training methodology, quality standards, and workflow. The visit served as a constructive platform for discussing potential industry partnerships, market linkages, and employment opportunities that would enable women to become economically self-reliant through skill-based work.
