Mrs. Kavita Chaturvedi

Kavita Chaturvedi an experienced professional with a diverse background in Hospitality, Event Management for social causes, and Human Resources.

She started her career in the hospitality industry and served as Guest Relations executive at Oberoi Grand, Kolkata. Later, she started her work in the fields of Human Resources and Event Management for social causes.

After marriage, she worked as an event manager for social causes in Lucknow, and later joined Thyron Informatics pvt. ltd, an International software company as HR Assistant. Along with this she pursued her Post Graduate diploma in Human Resource management from Indore University.

In 2003, she moved to Dehradun and restarted her vocation with events for social welfare. She started working with government and private organizations to execute soft-skill development projects.

Her interest include promoting local art and culture, providing health facilities, empowering rural women, and providing quality education to underprivileged children. She has been serving as the Secretary of Janki Devi Educational Welfare Society since 2009. Through this organization, over 3000 rural women have been trained in different skill sets. This has helped them generate a regular income for themselves.

Her passion for environmental conservation and sustainable living is reflected in her efforts to spread awareness about reducing plastic usage in villages and promoting handloom handcrafted products. She is also part of several committees that work towards a better and more sustainable future, including the Committee for Sexual Harassment of Women- ISRO and the Uttarakhand Cooperative Resham Federation.

Her personality is marked by strong organizational skills and the ability to execute projects with perfection. She is a self-starter and a go-getter who is always on the lookout for opportunities to contribute to society.
